Her Story
When Vanshika Parikh first approached CareerDNA, she had a clear aspiration — to move from a commerce background into the field of science and pursue her interest in Food Science and Nutrition. However, the path seemed challenging, as most colleges did not allow commerce students to shift to science-based programs.
With guidance from Neeta Nahata, different options were explored until a suitable pathway was discovered. A program at J D Birla Institute offered the opportunity to pursue B.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition Management, making this transition possible.
During her graduation, Vanshika adapted successfully to a new academic discipline and developed a deep interest in the science of food and nutrition.
With continued guidance from CareerDNA, she later secured admission to Symbiosis International University, Pune for M.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Her Story
Aaheli is the only daughter of Kakali and Sujit, parents who deeply value education and believe strongly that there is no substitute for hard work. Determined to provide her with better educational opportunities, they moved from their village to the city so she could access quality schooling.
Growing up, Aaheli often studied independently while her parents remained occupied with work. She supplemented her learning through private tuitions in science and mathematics. Like many students approaching the end of school, she found herself unsure about which career path to pursue.
At this stage, guidance from G. Jaishankar helped her explore her interests and reflect on possible directions, giving her greater clarity about her academic choices.
Aaheli is a diligent, ambitious, and determined individual. Beyond academics, she is a nature lover who enjoys travelling, doodling, and spending time reflecting.
Today, she is pursuing an Integrated Master’s degree in Biotechnology at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Her long-term aspiration is to specialise in Marine Biology, eventually pursuing a PhD and contributing to environmental conservation and research.

Her Story
Shreyanjana Basu began her academic journey pursuing a degree in Law. Within a year and a half, she realised that the field did not resonate with her interests or aspirations.
At the same time, her exposure to film shoots and the media industry sparked a deep interest in storytelling and filmmaking.
Leaving law meant losing two academic years, and undergraduate programs in Mass Communication in India are limited. The program that aligned most closely with her aspirations was at Symbiosis.
With guidance and encouragement from CareerDNA, she decided to pursue this new direction. Through support in entrance preparation, portfolio development, and interview readiness, she gained the confidence to follow her passion.
The exposure and internships she gained at Symbiosis shaped her professional journey. She began her career at FCB and today works at McCann — agencies she once only dreamed of joining.
